How do I assign a part of a multi-part problem?

You can assign individual parts of a multi-part problem instead of assigning all parts together.

For example, if you want your students to complete only a few parts of a multiple-part problem, you can assign Parts A, B, and D but not Part C by unchecking Part C.

We recommend that you always assign Part A since this is often the part with the question and/or graph referenced in the following parts.

When the box next to “Select all” is selected, students will be assigned all parts of that problem. De-select the box next to “Select all.”

Then, select the specific parts of the problem you would like to assign to students.
