We seek a full-time Teacher Engagement Manager (TEM) to support the overall success of a 30-school pilot launching next school year in partnership with the Louisiana Department of Education. The program will support teachers with using ASSISTments regularly in their classroom, as well as a group of tutors using ASSISTments data to support 1:1 and small group tutoring. This role will be on the Program Team and report to the VP of Program and Partnerships, and work collaboratively with our Product team.
The ASSISTments Foundation (TAF) is a non-profit with a staff dedicated to improving student learning through ASSISTments, a responsive online learning platform that is teacher-paced and evidence-based. ASSISTments allows teachers to assign independent math practice online, providing students with immediate feedback and teachers with actionable data. ASSISTments experienced tremendous growth in 2020 and is now used by more than 20,000 teachers and 500,000 students. The system is one of few available K-12 math tools proven effective through rigorous randomized controlled research.
Specific to the Role: The Teacher Engagement Manager, Louisiana, will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact for schools involved in the program and supporting the overall success of teachers in the pilot. This specifically includes 1) Supporting recruitment of the 30 schools 2) Leading all training for teachers and tutors in the pilot, 3) Monitoring progress and providing additional support and coaching as needed, and 4) Supporting the growth of the initiative in the state.
