Korinn serves as the Director of E-TRIALS, the groundbreaking application that leverages ASSISTments to help researchers around the world conduct randomized controlled trials of learning interventions in authentic educational environments at scale. She received her Ph.D. in Learning Sciences & Technologies in 2018 from WPI, where she was advised by Neil Heffernan and worked as a Research Assistant in the ASSISTments lab studying elements of student motivation and engagement in online learning. Her background is rooted in cognitive psychology and statistical methods, with a Bachelor's in Psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. When she isn't dueling imposter syndrome in her day job, you will probably find her listening to (or making) music, curled up with her dog, or simultaneously binging Netflix and staring at TikTok/IG (#AllTheScreens).
I am driven by the belief that online education offers an untapped opportunity for actionable data to be used to affect change in systemically underrepresented and underserved populations.
