Maya helps schools across Louisiana utilize ASSISTments to advance student achievement through training, coaching, and ongoing support.
She began her 14-year long career in education in a variety of roles, ranging from elementary teacher, instructional specialist, and school leader with Teach For America-South Louisiana after graduating from Wake Forest University. Maya earned her master’s degree from Concordia University-Portland, specializing in inclusion and special education.
