PhD Student (Computer Science)

I am a Ph.D. student in the computer science program at WPI. I work in the ASSISTments lab, involving various projects to build better support for teachers to assess students’ work. My work revolves around organizing data of student responses to open-ended questions and building machine learning models utilizing natural language processing techniques to automatically assess and suggest feedback messages to teachers to give to their students. More recently, I have been working on analyzing and assessing students' uploaded math work that are images, applying computer vision and image processing methods.
