ASSISTments Tutor Academy

Welcome to the ASSISTments On-Demand Professional Learning Center

The ASSISTments Tutor Academy provides on-demand modules to support your ASSISTments implementation in tutoring students in math. These just-in-time-learning modules cover topics such as the basics of getting started, assigning practice problems, and interpreting learning data, as well as ways to improve your relationships with students and tutoring skills.

The training follows the tutoring cycle: Diagnose, Plan, Deliver, Monitor and Adjust.  Each phase of the tutoring cycle has its own primary module that gives you the ASSISTments tutoring tools and the essential information for success.  Each phase also has a series of additional mini-modules on a variety of related topics to build your tutoring toolbox and skills.

We recommend beginning with Diagnose and following the sequence of the tutoring cycle, but jumping ahead is helpful to learn a specific skill or best practice.

Access the Overview Training Syllabus for additional information about training.
